Another cool thing about OS X is that the GUI and command line mix, in that most of the apps and OS are scriptable. Want to add a feature to iTunes? Just drop a script into a folder, and it automatically shows up in an iTunes menu!

With OS X you really do get the same command lines as Unix, and the best GUI as well.
