I'm just hoping they don't bring the Patriot act into this and allow this kind of behavior to go on...
If the "Patriot Act" weren't so scary, it would be funny. How can
a bill which has absolutely NOTHING to do with Patriotism be
titled the "USA Patriot Act????" Oh wait... the politicians
are smarter than your average bear... they knew that nobody would
be willing to speak up against a bill titled the "Patriot Act."
After all in post 9/11 America, who would dare speak out against
Patriotism?
They're all a bunch of corrupt, power-hungry monkeys, but they're
not stupid, gotta give 'em that. The only thing better than calling
that sham of a law the "Patriot Act" would have been calling the
the "Baseball and Mom's Apple Pie Act."
Shit like this is the reason I vote Libertarian...
I don't think most people care though. Looking at this
list as a microcosm of overall sentiment, we can see that
the issue of Gay marriage is more important to most people
than the issue of whether or not we live in a police state,
and whether or not the Bill of Rights is going to continue
to be whittled away, bit by bit, until it's all gone.

Thank God we have the 2nd Amendment to tell our elected representatives that enough is enough.
It's time to put "... from my cold, dead hands" back where it belongs.
