There is also the Wake County Firearms Education and Training Center, though
I have never tried it.

Personally, I belong to the Durham County Wildlife Club in RTP, though it is
a members only facility.

I can bring my Valmet three-position target rifle (single shot, bolt action
22LR, with 8oz. Trigger). With this rifle, on a good day, even I have put
five rounds inside the diameter of a quarter at 50 yards. This was with
metallic sights, though shooting off a sandbag :-)
