I'm finding the lessons on military history etc. quite interesting. My only observation is that the current situation is much better than the carpet-bombing of London or the dropping of an atomic bomb on Hiroshima (just to name a few examples) were at limiting civilian casualties.

Then again, people used to take picnic lunches to watch battles from nearby hills, with no worries whatsoever for their own persons. OK, I guess that makes another observation.
