All the more reason to 'buy' music rather than get it for free. Better to buy
a CD and hope the band gets a few cents rather than get it for free and know
that they will get nothing at all.

And go to their shows. And tell friends about them. Promote/support bands
however seems fit to you. I have friends who, honestly, get songs online just
to out the album or band and then go buy it if they like it. Kudos to that.

I realize the recording industry is lecherous on a, oh, fairly regular basis.
But I still think it's far better to buy a CD or go to a band's website and
download stuff that they willingly have available for free or at a cost that
they determine than it is to go to a site that offers "everything" regardless
of the will of the artists involved.

Again, I'm not judging anyone else for their MP3-downloading habits--this is
just me.
