I feel your pain. I have to think that one of the big reasons my job situation is so hopeless is that this stupid war has drained our country of vital capital. At this point, I'd be thrilled to see an impeachment, even though I think we are suffering more from the ridiculous amount of regulation and not the policies of the current administration. Still, I think Rumsfeld and his cronies are all incompetent. While we're at it, we should impeach most of the Congress and the Supreme Court.
I laugh every time I see the crop of democratic candidates who can do nothing but bash Bush, but have no solutions of their own except their usual tax & spend model. I've never seen a bigger group of people in such high positions so cosmically clueless. John Edwards. Hahahahhahahahhahahahhhahah!
The California debacle is even more hilarious. They ought to start gathering signatures right now so they can recall whoever takes over for Davis.
I see no problem with pulling all the troops out of Iraq right now. Two wrongs don't make a right.
If we had done nothing after 9/11, our economy
would be worse off than it is now.
How do you figure? I contend that 9/11 was a relatively small incident that got sensationalized beyond all proportion. It was the paranoia and fear that did the most damage, not the actual incident (as bad as that was). Americans are a bunch of freaking wimps if one pinprick attack can depress or collapse our national economy!
And strangest of all, we have our attorney general, John Ashcroft, campaigning around the country in support of one of the most Constitutionally offensive pieces of legislation that ever passed (and almost no one in Congress read it--grounds for impeachment right there, as far as I'm concerned).
Gotta go beg for change...welcome to the NWO.
L8R,
Ben
