The house my wife and I moved into has an electric stove, alas! I want to convert to gas as soon as we can.
...temperature can be controlled far better with gas. Instant on, much better for cooking on.

Price, right, maybe gas is higher, right now, it used to be lower than electric willthischangeinthenextyear, decade or two? I don't know. I like gas to cook on better. I swear the chili recipes that bounced around on this list a few months back will come out better if cooked on gas, IMHO!
