Steel wool??!!?? Ouch! How about new Quilted Charmin? Extra absorbent
for those really bloated OSes.

Steel wool?

Either that or delete all of the hard drive partitions and repartition
it to your needs. PartitionMagic is excellent for this purpose. There
are other free tools available if you're a Linux type.
