OK, I can see how units of measurement for age are not negotiable, but
how about units of measurement in height? Are we required to stick with
feet and inches, or is metric permissible?

There are no restrictions, age or otherwise.

But if you really want to rise in the organization, your weight should
be
evenly divisible by your height. Of course, exceptions are made for
those
whose current age (or that of a pet) is a prime number. Units of
measurement
are negotiable.
