I have this
http://www.smarthome.com/7654.html

and I want to use it to transfer video from my main media center in the LR
to the TV in the bedroom. Can use my receiver as a video switcher, so I'm
not worried about being able to send only DVD or only VHS, etc. -- will
just send whatever the "main" system is playing. (Speaker set in BR is
hardwired speaker set B, and I use a Powermid to control the LR system
from the BR, so I just need to senf the video.

I also have a wireless LAN...

I also need a new cordless phone (and the ones I like seem to be
2.4Ghz...)

The problem seems to be that these all want to be 2.4 GHz. (Nevermind the
thingy that's going to let me use a remote control to control the MP3s on
my laptop, which also seems to want to be 2.4Ghz...)

What's a girl to do -- will these all play nicely with each other? What
can I do to help them?

Thanks all,

Gina

My brain seems to have a circuit-breaker-like mechanism that, when I get
confused and befuddled by the overwhelming monstrosities of my life,
causes a default to the simplest and most pleasant of thoughts. Like
