Thanks for the suggestion! I was able to set up a server on my desktop, and
then have someone access it remotely from a browser, which is quite
impressive. On the client side there was no installation other than a really
fast applet install. From the short time I played with it this morning it is
really a well done package-- easy install and no errors of any kind, which is
incredible considering the client side was an applet.

The only thing that WebEx has over VNC at this point is the ability for me
then to take over the client's PC to run our software. One of the things we
do in tech. support is people call in and say "my software is doing X", and I
was hoping to find a system where a tech. support person could then take a
look at the customer's desktop to see what was happening.

VNC can do this, but the customer would have to download and install a native
server version of VNC, which is substantially more intrusive than the WebEx
ActiveX component.

Could you point me at the Palm client? I found a Windows CE client, but no
palm.
