I have to concur with this recommendation. Aurora has consistently
been one of my most favorite restaurants (and I have a lot of favorite
restaurants). The food is always interesting, excellent and varied, and
while a little more expensive than, say, Pyewacket (another good place
to consider), it is less expensive than a Nana's or Foursquare. Not
over the top.

One thing I like about the menu is the primi/secondi division, where
the first course is a pasta or similar dish that they will split between
two people upon request. That helps to spread the enjoyment of the
delightful flavors (and keep the bill down). It's not advertised, but
they'll also split the second courses.

I could start to recommend certain dishes -- the duck, the filet --
but
I'd have covered the entire menu before I finished. No bad choices
there.

And I can assure you from /quite recent experience/ that the a dinner
in one of the booths in the bar side of the house can be /very
romantic/. Very.
