do!
Good for George! He's got an insider's view of all this; and knows how the

White House works. I've always liked him.

Weeellllllll, DH was channel surfing this morning (too much wood cutting
yesterday) and stopped on the View and I said "Isn't that George whats his
face's wife?" And it was. Now, I don't know about Fox but Barbara Walters
said that George was the only one in the string of interviews who actually
interviewed Teflon instead of simply letting him make his speel.

One of her statements was "George asked the hard questions."

And, it is time people called him on his B.S. AND lying! Good for George!

Seriously, though, WHY when someone is lying shouldn't they be called on?
If you're president you get a free pass? What else do you get a free pass
on? Cheating, stealing, killing? Do we all sit down and shut up simply
because someone is elected president? Ah, that's called a dictator!

Why isn't it rude for the White House resident to call George a liar (you
can't just make up that language and decide that that's called a tax
increase.")?

Ya know, I think the world's gone crazy! I think Gramma's rules about
honesty should apply! And I think some folks need to be taken out behind
the barn with a willow switch or get a good mouthful of homemade soap!
What
happened to "your word is your bond"?

I found this interview/debate on healthcare interesting. I've always
liked Stephanopoulos-he was one of the few 'stars' of the Clinton
Administration as well as a Massachusetts liberal and current friend of
President Obama's Chief of Staff. No wonder the President was 'taken
aback'. I did not watch the show, so I will fully admit that this print
representation of the interview might be a misrepresentation of what
actually happened. That is often the case and actually would be more
believable in light of personalities than the article itself.

Assuming it is true, pulling out the dictionary on the President of the
United States in an interview is almost as 'rude' as calling him a liar,
IMO. I think it has the same effect, only a more polished approach
perhaps. I doubt George's career will suffer though. Like the President
said in another interview, acting rudely in this day and age is a
guarantee that one will receive their 15 minutes of media attention and
fame.

Of course, this is an opinion piece, but I liked the following from this
article. If he can have a few beers on the White House lawn, why not
this??
