And, no one will be drinking home brew, pisco sour, or Shiner Bock.
"The president will drink Bud Light. As I understand it -- I have not heard this, I've read this, so I'll just repeat what I've read, that Professor Gates said he liked Red Stripe, and I believe Sergeant Crowley mentioned to the president that he liked Blue Moon. So we'll have the gamut covered tomorrow afternoon."

Arg, I gotta start this by reminding everyone that I was very vocal in my dislike of Dumbya. However, I guess I am the only one, well, I gave DH a swift smack up along side the head (verbally), and he remembered it, since he is the one that made me come in and listen to it. Obama took a cheap shot at Bush and people saying he was someone they'd like to have a beer with. He went on to make a smart arse comments. about people who do business over a couple of beers.
Gates owes that woman BIG TIME. He was all over the airwaves talking about white women and racial profiling by saying there were two big black men breaking in a house.
AND, Bud Light? Paleez, sounds more like a double-wide up on "cee ment" blocks with dead cars in the front yard! :)

The press corp is fact-adverse but very fable friendly.

I feel like the one who got the short end of the stick was the
complainant. Where is her apology? She is due an apology by all three
beer drinkers. Where is her beer? I read, and agree with the statement
that she is the only one, including President Obama, who did not
overreact to the incident. She performed her civic duty, and for
what???? To be labeled a racist and to be excluded from the so called
Beer Summit Boys Club... It sucks for her.
I'm not impressed with his handling of the situation, either initially
or his attempts to placate, or his 'Beer Summit'. At least I am not the
only one who is not impressed-there was a funny skit on Conan last
night-it was a faux ad for Blue and Black Beer, too funny. Like having
a beer will solve the problem...
