Lisa,
Do you recall how brassica sometimes have a very tought, woody stem between
ground level and the business end of the plant and often that stem is long
and
curled? That's what happens to leggy seedlings and although it isn't ideal,
it isn't a reason to chuck them out either. Start more, but transplant the
leggy ones anyway, the odds are in your favor.
