Homestead friends:
Questions re my leggy seedlings (brassicas):
Should I:
A) transplant today as deep as possible;
B) start over if not too late (tho probably too late) and ensure they
receive more light (recent 5-day rainy gray spell did not help, I do not yet
use grow lights);
C) chalk it up as lesson learned, rig a grow light system or cold frame
system (both?) and buy plants from a local farmer and plant when the time
comes;
D) other.
If there is a general rule of thumb for leggy seedlings, please share. Or if
if you treat some leggy seedlings different from others, say brassicas from
tomatoes or peppers.
Still trying to do better--and still finding that though I love planting
seeds and growing things, I am NOT a natural gardener. Not giving up though.
Thank you!
Lisa
