Don, all you need are a couple of 5 gallon buckets, a large pot and a
few assorted hoses and valves. Probably the most critical component is
the "bubbler" used during fermentation and a fellow with your wiles
could fashion one with a loop of hose and a glass of water. A bottle
capper is a nice luxury but not completely necessary.

You've got me jonesing to dust off my wort pot and buckets. I have
about 4 cases of bottles washed and sterilized and ready to go.
