Do they "steal" small seeds?

I planted in started TP & a few in peat cups.

Everything that was a small seed didn't come up.
Larger seeds about 80% sprouted.

I found an ant tunnel underneath on of the trays of seeds in the cold frame,
so wondering if they steal small seeds....

:-)

And this, I will submit, is surely a measure of homesteading success.
Underlying our homesteading philosophies (excepting escapism and suvivalism)
is
independence and self-reliance. With the world at large teetering as it is
and
the homesteader does not see it affecting them, then does that not mean they
have been successful?!
