Bob,  here's some more from Fekete...

"Unless the ice is broken and one country does open its Mint to gold [as a
currency] ... [t]he output of the world’s gold mines......... will go into
hiding and will not benefit society."

(IMO "benefit" here means in terms of a moral standard of trade between men -
not based on credit and debasing of the currency - i.e. sound monetary
policy.)

Looks like Sprott has figured out a way to spur the Canadians into coining
--- but he also mentions that if Sprott can't figure out a way to continue to
buy bars, that will come to a halt and they will stock selling to the public
- i.e. gold into hiding.

So many around the world clamor for sound money system,,,, seems hard to
believe that gov'ts will return to it - not by choice at least.

Hey Frank,

I, too, am a long-time list member and ever learning. I also work full-time
as a Foster Care Provider. Last year I made homemade peach wine with our
peaches, baked yeast bread, grew potatoes and canned venison for the first
time. We just recently snagged seven young hens off Craigslist after not
having had poultry for a few years.

What Bev said was right, but please don't let that scare you off. Welcome!

Lisa
