Speaking of dehybridizing, I know someone (Roger Postley, Tomatoes, Etc., RPostley AT aol.com) on another list who has or knows someone who has dehybridized tomatoes (CM Carmello). In fact, if anyone is looking for OP and heirloom tomatoes and peppers, his Tomatoes, Etc. is the place to go. All kinds of delicious tomatoes and peppers, too.
Anyone want a copy of his list of seeds (the prices are good!), let me know.

victory seed company), Lasso (haven't tried that one up here). I haven't
been able to find the Redkoop seeds the last couple of years. It is too hot
here to grow any early cabbage but grew the Ruby Ball when we lived on the
coast.
Good, good. I grew some Ruby Perfection which is a hybrid of Ruby Ball. And
now that you mention it, I've heard of Red Acre. I'm on a search for these
and the other two you mention. If I find them, I'll post the results.
Early cabbage does OK here so I'm keen to try Ruby Ball.
Excellent, thanks for the leads.
