Back when my grandfather died, I got a whole bunch of his "junk". He
had really good junk.<g> Anyway, one of the things I got was a package
of plastic sheets that cover the interior of windows. The package was so
old(my guess is maybe 20 years old) that the instructions could not be
read. The plastic sheets are slightly larger than my windows(perfect)
and it looks like it would work great, IF I can figure out what I am
doing. I feel really BLONDE right now.
In the package with the sheets were cardboard strips. Each sheet came
with a piece of cardboard that had been cut into strips. I have no idea
of what to do with these strips...it's just thin cardboard..I would be
tempted to say it was just packaging support, but then each sheet was
encasing a sheet of strips. Nothing else was in the package.
I've heard of kits like this that are shrinked to the window. I have no
idea if this is what I have, or even how I would do that.
Can anyone give me a clue on possible instructions?
I can tape the sheets to the window frame, but I feel like I am missing
something.
