I think it's clear that Obama has socialist leanings. I just questioned
that he RAN as a Socialist. He didn't. Obama was endorsed by the NP, and
may have been a member, but he ran as a Democrat. He was working with
the Democratic party, doing voter registration and getting his name
known in the district years before Ayer's living room. Now if you want
to get into the dirty politics he played to WIN that first state senate
seat...wiped out all his primary opponents by challenging signatures
until he was the only one left in the primary. I hate that kind of politics.
