they just do not like the idea of women having pleasure.

Major religious businesses, most notably the Catholic Church, are enriched by ever-growing numbers of adherents. More members of the church equal greater revenue, which equals greater power, more art treasures, more political influence, more fulfillment for those who worked hard to reach near the top.

Anything that threatens to reduce the ever-growing number of parishioners will be fought hard and forever.

I find great entertainment in the new church message: have lots of sex, every way you and your other-sex marriage partner can think of; sex is fun; sex is good; God wants you to enjoy!

See, Ray, that's what cynicism brings you to.

They are salivating over her certain picks for Supreme Court nominees.
Goodbye Roe vs. Wade.

She does not have the political knowledge to fight anything through a
democratic controlled congress. She has no national political experience so
if for some reason she should move into that office she could become a very
ineffective pawn of the religious wackos.
I tend to agree with the McCain wants to loose point of view. Everyone
knows that the country faces some real problems. National debt gone
bonkers, rising oil prices, global climate change, extremely polarized
politics, etc. No matter who gets in they have to undo eight years of
Bushchenyco and that may not be possible. Get a democratic president and
let him attempt to fix things then in four years Rommney gets a shot.

But republicans did not expect to be against a black man with a funny name
so suddenly McCain is higher in the poles than expected. What to do? Make
the big announcement appear to be a big mistake.

McCain is running to win the presidency but Obama is setting himself up to
run the country after election.
