Wright (and Obama) is a Black Liberation Theologist. In this appellation
the word 'liberation' goes with 'theology' not 'black' that is, Black
Liberation Theology isn't the theology of liberating blacks but rather
'Liberation
Theology' as preached and practiced in black churches.
Wright is not a loose cannon or a wild brand. He is an honest and
representative example of an established political/religious philosophy.
That's why
Obama's association with a Black Liberation Theology church is significant.
