What? Brussels sprouts?
No, but I agree that it is the cooking that makes B.S. delectable. Growing up, my mother never raised them. In fact upon your inquiry I consulted her and for the first time found her lacking in appropriate gardening knowledge. At any rate, and I do not recall the motivation, a couple months ago I bought some, cleaned off the outer leaves, cut them in half, cooked them in olive oil and sea salt in a pan, sizzling, a few slightly browned, removed from heat. Found them so sweet and delectable I burned my mouth from the big ones, eating them too soon.
