Here in NE TN I just signed a contract for $2.25 per gallon for what is
called prepaid. I purchased 500 gallons. It will be delivered to the 100
gallon tank as needed throught the next 12 months. The price is set for the
coming year each July. If I was not able to prepay the price for a monthly
payment is $2.35 per gallon. According to my contract, if the price goes up
I stay at my contracted price. If the price drops below what I am paying I
get the lower price. A friend of mine with a commerical greenhouse in my
same county, which is Greene, has an agriculture rate of $2.02 per gallon.
Your price seems pretty darn good to me Gene! Fourteen years ago when I
moved into this house the price of propane was 78 cents per gallon. Sure
wish my salary had risen along with the price of propane!!

My guess is energy will NOT be getting cheaper as time passes. Fill
it and be done with it.
