It's the land of Coke because you are too close to Atlanta.

Well, I did live 35 years+ of my life in an Atlanta suburb, what do you expect?? :)

Here in
Tennessee it's RC all the way. That and Dr. Pepper which was concocted by a phamacist
in Rural Retreat a few miles from here.

RC sells pretty well, here, too, about the quantity of IBC.
To me, RC tastes like a cross between Coke and Dr. Pepper.

I love Dr. Pepper. I have about one each week.

Have you ever had it hot?
Nuke up a mug of DP sometime and drink it like hot tea or coffee. You will be pleasantly surprised.

Btw, in Wisconsin when I was growing up, all soft drinks were called pop, as it is in my part of the Ozarks. Soda was a high-fallutin' word used by people who also had dinner at supper time and referred to real dinner as "lunch."

In these parts, people just say Coke instead of soda or pop to mean a carbonated beverage. I am probably the only one in my county that says soda, and that's because I started saying it a few years ago to differentiate things when I write online.
My Wisconsinite friend Louis always said "pop", and a song on the radio was a "tune"..
