To which Don might reply, "pHooey!"
We are so far out in the sticks that he is refusing to show me where town is so I can get something other than that fizzy yellow stuff. I do hold the ace though, I have his toy apart.

It's 106 degrees here at EarthNSky, but thankfully, the humidity is only
38% today.
Gene and I went into Springfield today and I saw 108 on a bank time and temp sign. We suspect that is w bit high, the next one showed 101 and the radio weather mentioned low 100s.

I shouldn't be so mean on Gene. He has shown me where the tapper is but he has kept it empty. Gene has been the most gracious of hosts, generous with the beer and friendship. Maybe I am the one keeping the tractor apart just so I can hang around a little longer.

And I wouldn't blame you. I'm sure we all follow your travels and adventures
with
the same enthusiasm, and there are always 'interesting' places. Then, there
are
'special' places, that will always be fondly and warmly remembered. I'm glad
you're spending some time together.

PS. Didn't that tractor have a name? Or was that the backhoe?
