Sounds good. Besides when, this is the plan:
"The co-op's plan calls for residents to pay $29.95 a month for the service, and for businesses to pay $39.95. The speeds LSBC will offer are comparable to those of DSL service, which requires a phone line and proximity to centralized equipment, and a bit slower than the fastest speeds available to cable modem users, who must subscribe to cable television as well.
Users would also pay one-time fees of $99 for installation of equipment and $75 to join the co-op.
The service will be faster by leaps and bounds than the dial-up services, like Juno, NetZero and basic . . . ."

Sounds like it might be awhile before this new thing finds Ozark County. Our Don Bowen and our ex-member, Vern Modeland, are tapped into the great "up there" for connectivity right now and seem to like it.
