Wow, so your great-whatsit managed to arrive from England in MV before there
was even a town there to arrive at. Even though the Mayhew's that owned the
islands at that time brought folks over from Boston, etc. until after 1671.

and even though the original settlers of MV managed to not be racists and
big on genocide like most other early settlers, the trickle down theory
doesn't seem to be at work with you.

I'm thinking Texas sounds like a good fit.
