Hi Fran and all,
Better late than never :-)
Pencil is hard to read from 5' away (while standing
up). The black markers or paint pens are much easier to see at a distance. The
problem is when you come out in the early spring to find they have faded. That's
when you pull the marker out of the ground and look on the back at the
pencil!
