In another life my late husband Hank and I were kite people and we sometimes used the synthetic material tyvek to make kites. It is only available in white, but some folks dyed it with Jell-O, so it probably would take a tea stain. The good news about this material is, it is incredibly strong and does not degrade when exposed to the elements. Also, it accepts permanent magic markers. My husband was a graphic designer so we used artist grade magic markers and I think there is a difference when it comes to permanence. Check it out.
