If the Transfiguration is as close as we get to a resurrection appearance in Mk, it is interesting to note that only Jesus' clothing receives an attempt at a description - no description of HIS appearance is attempted.
With this in mind, perhaps the theological point of the empty tomb in Mk is the indescribability of the resurrection (**empty** tomb and no subsequent appearance), rather than its [material] bodily nature.
Any thoughts?
