Not every time for every version of FreeTDS. If Duncan is trying to
connect to a Sybase server, I wouldn't be surprised if tsql just blows up
if it's told the wrong TDS version. Not a lot of effort has gone into
ensuring that a server is sending back packets of the asserted protocol
version, and they're subject to misinterpretation.
Hmm. Probably belongs in "Known Issues" on the man page. If we had a man
page.
