Friday I wrote a small fix for this. I committed it to cvs this morning. It
simply return success setting forward cursors. If PHP want to use other
cursor it return error. IMHO this is the correct behaviour.

If you want to use PHP with FreeTDS think about using ctlib. ctlib work
better than odbc (for now).
