Hey Brian,
OK, I now have a sourceforge userid - "thompbil".
I have to admit I'm completely in the dark about this stuff. I've had a
quick root around and I'm not much better off :-)
Will I need to download a copy of this CVS thingy in order to get this
process working ?
If so, will this work from behind my corporate firewall ?
Is there an idiots guide to what else I have to do anywhere ?
BTW, I'm nearly finished now - all the dblib bcp functions are now coded
and pretty much tested. I've also created a main program - freebcp.c -
which looks/feels/behaves pretty much like the real thing, but I've no
idea how to incorporate that into the makefiles...
I've had to get into some areas I'd rather not have...I've had to change a
bit more of convert.c to get it to behave like the real one does with
SYBCHAR output. I've also had to change the DBPROCESS structure...
I'm still hopeful of officially verifying my discoveries about the SQL
Server bcp data packets. I'll be careful about the conditions under which
I acquire such information tho'.
best wishes,
Bill
