The interfaces file should be located in the directory where freetds was
install when you typed 'make install'. By default this is
/usr/local/freetds. There is a sample file in there with a couple of
entries (if you have a connection to the internet you can use the 'JDBC'
server for testing). Just copy one of the entries and change its name (the
first line), the hostname and port number to where your server lives.
