Kitchen Garden Tour
Monday, August 16, 6:00-8:00 pm

This tour is not to be missed!  This homesteader has grown fruits and veggies for 30 years in a cold site in West Danby.  Tree fruits, berries, grapes, large vegetable garden, and asparagus all thrive (along with flowers).  Years of experience have shown which varieties are productive and relatively problem-free!  We also will tour the simple but efficient root cellar constructed in the basement, learn the other food storage options used, and see the deer fence that has proven effective the last few years.

Space is limited on this tour so pre-registration is required!
Please call 272-2292 to register.  A fee of $5/person will be collected upon arrival.
Visitors should meet at the corner of Station Road and Rt.34/96 south in the center of West Danby (park on a side street).

See the Google map for location, here: http://ccetompkins.org/calendar/10/07/30/kitchen-garden-tour-danby
or call Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County at 272-2292 for more information!
