My impulse is to say all these parallels

Like Mark I'm convinced about Paul's conversance with "Son of Man"
traditions, but I'm
not sure this widespread sugggestion accounts for his failure to use the
term. Mark's
target audience included gentiles, who required an explanation of Jewish
purity
customs, but Mark had no hesitation about hO hYIOS TOU ANQRWPOU.
