I'm not sure I take your meaning here, Grady. Are you saying that what has
been taken
as a crucifix was not one, but instead a mounting fixture that has been
misinterpreted? And if this is not what you're saying, what then do you think

legitimately be inferred about the religious status/affiliation of the
householder
from the presence of the crucifix within this person's house?
