Um, at the risk of seeming to inject a note of religion into
scholarship, let me greet you all with the traditional Orthodox
"Christ is risen! Indeed he is risen!", which is how we begin
everything for the entire glorious 40 days of the Lord's Pascha ("Easter")!...

Seems like a good point. Rm 1.1-5 also seems to emphasize this, both
by content and by its position as the lead-in to his entire letter:
"...euaggelion qeou, o proephggeilato ... peri tou uiou autou tou
genomenou ek spermatos Dauid kata sarka, tou orisqentos uiou qeou en
dunamei kata pneuma agiwsunhs ex anastasews nekrwn, Ihsou Cristou tou
kuriou hmwn, di ou elabomen carin kai apostolhn...".
