I really appreciate the dialog that's taking place

I just feel like it's a lot harder to make music than
it is to listen to it. It's very hard to go on tour. Booking shows, paying for gas, eating, lodging,
playing in front of crowds ranging from 4 to 400. And
I think that the least that the local press can do is
be indifferent. I think that a conscious decision has
to be made in order to step over that line of
indifference and be mean.
The Indy is a representative of our community, and I
don't like the way "eh, whatever" represents us. I
want bands to consider the triangle a welcoming,
friendly, and accomodating place. There are a lot of
people outside of this music community who find it
pretentious and exclusive, and I think that this
section exacerbates that. It's just not what I want
to be reading.
We should be more excited and appreciative that so
many bands want to come here and share their hard work
with us.
