It's still happening. Last I heard was that it would be within the next 18 months.

And the Biscuit King only closed in December 2002, or thereabouts, so barely 4 1/2 years ago. Still a long time, although my impression was that they made the decision to close well in advance of the projected wrecking ball.

p.s. did you know that that little artist's studio just up 9th from the Biscuit King was the first Kentucky Fried Chicken in Durham?

p.s. i think that Biscuit King was serving food up the street at the sportsbar during the mornings for a while, but i'm not sure if that is still happening or not.
