I would imagine you already know this, but for those who don't, Lenovo is
the Chinese company that recently bought most (all?) of IBM's personal
computing stuff.

I know a few people who work there, and they seem mostly happy--some are
contract, some are FT. Lots of meetings apparently. And the FT people
started out as contract, so there may be that.

I would check to see how sure they are that they'll be staying here--I'm
fairly sure that recently the state turned down their application for lots
of money to stay in RTP. Which is to say that at least part of them will be
moving to the state that is the highest bidder for them. Maybe.

Me, I'd stick with your current job, but then I work contract for the state
(i.e., even less money w/o bennies), so I'm not sure what my views are
worth. [g]
