The reason the theater is proposed to be 4,00 seat is
that they know that ADF is the ONLY group even talking
to the City about using it.
And ADF is far from committed.
So- they're thinking: "hmm..what else can we pretend
to be? A theater is not enough."
The budget for the theater has been cut and the design
will clearly suffer. ADF has expressed serious
concerns over this also.
Durham also has "I'm worried mine is smaller"
problems- so they want more seats that 2k- also CC
prob. has some opinions there as to wanting it larger.
To make a long story short, it's supposed to be
everything to everybody. But it will end up being
nothing for nobody.
And Durham taxpayers will begin forking over the
money.
We need to scuttle this one and start again. Ths one
is crappy to the core.
