very cool! version 2 better, in my opinion.
shouldn't we somehow add that this is a european CC mixtape. Maybe not in the title, as it's long enough already, but some hint on the cover, something like "18 songs, 18 European countries"?

Great effort everybody!

I've been mocking up a cover - let me know what you think? All and every suggestion for changes and revisions are really welcome:

I don't know if I like this project anymore: what a nightmare to find the remaining info for each of the selected tracks [album (if any), label (if any) and license version]!!! :S

Please note that the tracks are not yet in the final order of appearance and that we might still change some of the selected tracks that appear here.

2 days to go!! Let's go!!! ;)

XMP not relevant for MP3s

http://wiki.creativecommons.org/MP3 says what ID3 fields to use for
license info.

Not that anyone will notice. :-/

I think it's best if we can get the tracks directly uploaded by the official Creative Commons soundcloud. Is there anyone from HQ that can take care of that?  Wo will take care of the metadata? I3D-tags can be pretty easily filled in through iTunes, but do we also want to use XMP for the licenses? Is anyone familiar with that?

Best!
Yannick

alright, so as soon as the A-Side and B-Side are chosen and uploaded to
hosting sites (IMHO including Soundcloud, who will do that?), people
should add the relevant links to the GDoc so that we can then move them
to a page on the CC Europe Site.

I love this project :)
