I have a copy of Blueflops already but was hoping for something with a full
set of kernel modules. The main problem seems to be that 2.6 modules won't
install in BL2 (tried Puppy and Tinycore already, same problems). Does anyone
else want to try getting this working? Maybe I need Slackware 11 insmod and
lsmod - will try those next.

The Thinkpad 770 which crashes when I try to use a USB hard drive with BL2 works with Puppy, Tinycore, and DSL Linux (2.4.31 kernel) so I just need to fix my 2.4.31 kernel to work.

I tried to report this using tinycore itself but, although I booted it with flag 'laptop' and it loaded pcmcia modules including serial_cs, I could not find any dialing program. Copying over eznet and pppd and various config files did not help. Like DSL linux, everything requires sudo. sudo eznet up 0

A 2.6 kernel might still be needed to run BL in a computer with SATA hard drive (even with BL on an IDE drive).
