So I got a DE-220PCT for the computer (486, 8MB RAM) that I intend on
using BasicLinux with (dualboot with DOS 6.22). It's a 16-bit ISA
ethernet/coaxial adapter. I'm just wondering if anyone has had any
experience with it and whether or not they know if it works or does not
work in BL3.

I use the D-Link DE-220P a lot. As mentioned previously, it uses the NE driver
and you need to provide the irq & io addresses. I have used it with BL3.
You will need to disable the PNP mode (if it has been set) and set the irq & io address to known values. Look for the D-Link DOS program called 'setup.exe' (available at DriverGuide, http://www.network-drivers.com/drivers/16/16607.htm) and use it to set the values and store them on the card. It also does card diagnostics.
