At the time, I was making a list of all the commands and what the
--help returned, so I could figure out how they worked and what I
would use them for. But I gave it up pretty quickly as I didn't
understand most of the stuff I read.

When I tried [command] --help on a couple of those in the list
from busybox --help, one returned "not found". So I assumed that
there were others.

I'm not asking for help on them at this stage as I don't
understand enough of BL to know what kind of help I need.

I am just commenting on the list of commands that busybox --help
returns.

To get the answer to your query, I ran "busybox --help >bb.txt",
then used mc to move bb.txt to the DOS area, then under DOS I
opened bb.txt and printed it.

(Yeah, I know there would be easier methods, but so far I don't
know them. But when the book arrives....)

I went back to BL and tried each one in turn (boy, was that
tedious!) in the form [COMMAND] --help and found that three of
them returned "[COMMAND]: not found".

That is what I meant by "they don't work".

The three were ash, linuxrc and markdevs.

This is just for your information, in answer to your query.

No reply necessary.
