Perhaps my USB hardware is buggy enough to work with 2.4 but not 2.2.
It would help if someone else tried usb-storage with 2.2. Stephen, can you
try to use your iPod with one of Steven's latest 2.2.26 kernel images?

I would try the DeliLinux kernel if I knew where to get it. I looked at the
deli ftp site but could only find a 2.4 kernel. Can someone post a direct
URL?

I might try the SW80 and Debian 2.2.25 kernels sometime.
